Anthony “PIC” Picarello
On Air Personality – 93.7 MIKE FM & WRKO
Anthony Picarello grew up in East Boston, Massachusetts. He received his bachelors degree in communications from Suffolk University in Boston.
Anthony has been in the music business since the age of 15, when he began mixing records and performing at school and family events. At the age of 17, he began entertaining at private events, weddings and night clubs, including stints at The Palace, The Harborclub, Who’s on First, Destinations, The Town Line, Good Times and more.
While a junior at Pope John High School in Everett, Massachusetts, Anthony worked for the city of Boston’s Stage and Sound department. In May of 1988, while working one Sunday afternoon, he met Sunny Joe White and Vinnie Peruzzi at the Kiss 108’s walk for hunger event. Anthony was always fascinated with radio and took an internship at Kiss 108 producing Vinnie Peruzzi’s Saturday Night Dance Party. He also worked at 94.5 WZOU for a few years. From 1999 to 2004 Anthony PIC could be heard on Star 93.7, Boston’s feel good station.
Anthony is currently the Assistant Program Director for 93.7 MIKE FM and programs the music for over 400,000 people a week. Anthony also is the Rhythmic AC Program Director for all Entercom Hig Definition radio stations.
He is also hired to host/motivate many private events and weddings throughout the year. He quotes, “I love music and entertaining people, it’s always been in my blood”.
